Maval Association of Information Technology, sweetly & proudly called as MAIT, denotes both the name of the association and the phonetically meaning of MATE or ASSOCIATE. is a just born baby in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, PUNE.
More than 200 IT and IT enabled supportive small scale enterprising service providers are in this Industrial twin township catering to the IT segment of PCMC and neighboring adjoining areas.
At one of the meeting, many dealers discussed common issues with Mr. Suresh Y Mohite and It was looked upon an urgent need of associating all the entrepreneurs together for 

certain benefits of the associates and the customers. About 70 entrepreneurs got together and confirmed unanimously to form this association. The first name suggested was Dealers Association of Information Technology. Mr. Paresh Wadke suggested the motto should "IT's Better Together", wherein IT also denotes for INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY. Later before launching, Mr. Balaji Iyer suggested that the name MAVAL would be a better choice, in term of the VOTING CONSTITUENCY and for future expansion of the Association should be well thought of & was sportingly accepted by the others and thus launched MAIT.
MAIT members elected Mr. Suresh Y Mohite as its Charter President and Mr. Kamal Vanvari as its Charter Treasurer. 
MAIT is registered under Registrar of Societies act 1860 and has received its registration (No.198, dated 27th Jan, 2010) from the Charity Commissioner's Office, Pune.

The Association has its clear objective to address all the common issues faced by its Associates and the consumers. The Association has its vision of promoting and elevating the standards of I.T by expanding into a bigger way by approaching even the Giant IT Industries of Hinjewadi, Talewade and other IT Parks located in its vicinity.
Other visionary Associates, has very clearly identified.
Exhibition of products to the public on a common platform even if it is a small scale.

  • Educational seminars for the student and the general public.

  • Educating the Associates to follow ethical practices.

  • Recognising and promoting social events/activities jointly with other NGO's and Government bodies.

  • Health Checkup camps (Free and discounted) for both the Associates and their Family members.

  • Educating the public on E-WASTE AND E-DANGERS.

  • Developing the website into a profession way and make it a source of earning for the Association

  • Associating with other Associations in the country for various projects, both social and educational and professional.

  • Fixing the Charges for service providers for the benefit of customers and the associates.

  • Printing of Membership Directory.
